Focus

No matter how much we learn about any subject, there is always some other angle we might not have considered or another aspect we can learn.

Al Ries, in his book Focus, provides lots of information and many examples to explain why Focus is important to all of us and our business ventures. For those who have not read this book I would recommend that you rush out and get a copy, it is well worth reading.

Edward De Bono in his book Simplicity, spells out just how difficult it is to simplify issues and he suggests that we should always strive to learn more about simplicity wherever and whenever we can.

Peter Bregman, combines both these injunctions in an excellent article where he describes a lesson he learnt form his 9 year old daughter.
